The dual-guide column design facilitates the puncture impact test for plastic sheets and films. The hammer body is raised and lowered by a moving crossbeam to store energy, with the pneumatic clamping mechanism releasing the hammer. Samples are secured on the workbench's clamping device, where the hammer strikes them during free-fall. A digital touchscreen controls the hammer's elevation to the target height and displays energy values, while manual buttons release the impact hammer.
